Excerpt of article:
The district’s diverse group of businesses located in a peaceful neighborhood setting creates a unique shopping experience where one can find everything from the perfect cup of organic coffee to hip housewares all within a short stroll of each other – even children’s clothes and high end stationery find their way into the mix.
Last year, the ninth and ninth shopping district enjoyed a funky facelift. Purple lamp posts and chartreuse park benches were installed around the districts principal intersection. These improvements, combined with a fresh location for neighborhood-favorite The Coffee Garden has ninth and ninth enjoying a renewed energy and verve.
Along with revamped aesthetics, several new businesses have opened in and around the area and now compliment the eminent anchors like The Tower Theatre and Cahoots Card Shop. One of the notable new residents is a second location for one of the city’s top Middle Eastern restaurants, Mazza.
