Local Reality Show Comes to 9th & 9th

DateNate launched their on-line reality show with a trip to 9th & 9th. The date starts with dinner at 9th South Delicatessen. The second, activity part of the date moves up the street to Gypsy Moon Emporium where the couple gets hand painted henna tattoos.

Every Wednesday, beginning on July 21st (through the end of September). From 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Fruits, vegetables, salsas, smoothies, flowers, hand-made treats, fresh baked breads, henna artists, etc. Locally grown, locally produced items, live music.

Weeks 1-3: between 1000 East and 1050 East
Week 4: between 900 East and 950 East (in front of bread store)

~ New Art at 9th & 9th Intersection

Just in time for the 2007 Street Festival......In August of 2007, nine new metal sculptures were installed on existing cement pillars at the four corners of the 9th & 9th intersection. Titled "The 9 Muses," they are the work of Seattle artist, Troy Pillow. To read more, Tribune Article
