Often described as funky or earthy, there are no strip malls in this neighborhood (the plumbing store is even in an old house!). An excellent walking district with a unique collection of shops, businesses and services. In fact, a person could get just about anything they needed here!

Fall has arrived at 9th & 9th. The merchants and organizations of 9th & 9th invite you to take a stroll in our neighborhood of changing leaves. --Saturday, September 19, 2009 In case of inclement weather, a rain day might be scheduled for Sunday September 20, 2009??

The annual street fair includes live music, arts & crafts, food, entertainment, children's activities, and other surprises. "Celebration of neighbors, art, music, food, dance, song, antiques, crafts, joy, collectibles, people, laughter, kids, games, play." Daytime event. 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free to the public!
